Rex... whoa, proper flame grilled there! The Ultramarine did cause a bit of a stir when he stepped into the club. Don't know how the hell he managed to keep that project quiet.

We had an office pizza/Halloween party at my brokerage. Most folks didn't dress up so that took out most of the competition. I won first place and the prize was a bottle of Baily's Irish Cream in the new caramel flavor.

Here I am getting on the Halloween Ready Line

Here we are ready to step off for some treats. I'm escorting a witch, a semi -quasi pirate (no sword??) and in the back is a vampire with a touque. (Not all my kids, just the hidden vampire.) If you look hard enough, we all were wearing touques including me hence my pot (helmet) was sitting higher on my head. The temperature was -10 C but the kids were all worked up and ready to earn their treats. I had many folks comment on my costume & how cool it was. One guy even thought I rented it. All in all, an excellent Halloween.

Next year, I'm gonna hit the West Edmonton Mall WEM with the kids.

Mike- Flame unit (let's stop calling it a "flamer" guys ) looks great! Marine uniform looks great!

But it doesn't surprise me as we had a couple of flurries over here (didn't stay though).

Managed to snag a couple of pics off the web of the party I went to:

The club was called "The Church" (and yes it was formerly a church). The party was the annual Rue Morgue Halloween bash (known this year as "Chinese Torture Theater").

So these were from the midnight costume contest. Guy in the white was the Master of Ceremonies. Ghost Rider ended up winning (personally I think Van Gogh should have won... he didn't even make the top three).

Some others- Pin Head (and female cenobyte), Creature from the Black Lagoon, Tank Girl, Spider-Man (in black uniform), various ghouls, vampires, and zombies.

Our actual hallowe'en night was somewhat spoiled when some twat decided to try to cut Abe the Alien's throat -Not realising that Gareth the Human's eyes were in there!

The most annoying thing about our Halloween night was not being nearly blinded, but not being in the final of the costume competition: They assumed our costumes were rented! That pissed me off big time.

WOW! Sounds and looks like a helluva party!!!

wasn't gonna, but just have to post one from me too. Went to HallowCon - no Marines there - it's a super tiny Con - but all food and alcohol included in your ticket! went with some non-USCM Dragon Con friends, Did see a few Stargate Guys. Anyway, it's mostly pirates there - that's the big group that does this Con, so when in Rome..... But had a heck of a time - even got to hang with a professional ghost-hunter (guy in the hat)!

funny. I tried for the dagger/sword or even some dueling pistols, etc. but not a lot of room for accessories on that costume! And all of the good accessories had too much weight to keep everything just where it needed to be - (if you know what I mean) SO I had to rely on my bodyguards and slaves to keep me safe! But it was a lot of fun. They had a slave auction for charity and some other fun events. Didn't sell myself this year, It was my first HallowCon and I wanted to make sure I knew exactly what "slavery" entailed. but maybe next one! As long as the opening bids are high enough.

Also got to perform in a fan flick that they were doing there - got bitten by a pirate vampire, then carried off by some big monster! All in all, just a great time. Not sure when the film will be done, but cannot wait to see just how much of a goober I was on film.
