The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Okay, whose into Firefly?!

Derek, you showed me Mal's pistol at DCon and I had no idea who that was.

Scott, you told me:"What?! You don't know about Firefly?? How can you call yourself a Sci-Fi fan??"

Well guys,

I enjoyed the series and the movie tremendously!!! It's awesome!!

Working on a Browncoat from Cat, and holster, and Jayne's
JCF-1DSO and a trick Mal's pistol.

I think it was a great show as well. It's a shame it got cancelled so soon. I absolutely loved the movie.

D con 05 Cherie and I had no idea what it was, but it was big.

We now have watched the show and the movie and I can safely say its one of the best made shows I've ever seen.
It never dies, no low points, great characters and such a great setting.

Anyone who has not seen it, rent the series - its well worth it!!

I was lucky enough to see most of the original episodes when they first aired in fall of 2003. I fell in love with the show after just a couple episodes -- it was just so brilliantly written and the characters had so much depth.

I could go on and on, but I cannot say enough great things about FireFly.

Pure genius. :D

Yeah, FF kicks all kinds of great sci fi ass. It's a tremendous series, plain and simple. Good ole Whedon's shown us all a great deal of kindess by making it;)

Hey,
Which Scott are you talking about Rex ??
I loved Firefly.
I saw part of one episode and thought..hmm house on the prarie in space. This stinks.
I later gave it another shot and fell in love with the show.
I had issues with the movie, but hey, who didn't.

Such a great series. <cries>

I hope Whedon writes a second movie at some point - or a new series.

Mmh. Browncoat... That'd be easier to bring around that USCM Armour... <ponders>

I love the show and all its characters. Joss Whedon is such an amazing writer. Each actor did a phenomenal job as well. Damn Fox for cancelling it. (Damn Fox for cancelling Arrested Development while I'm at it!) I'd love to see Nathan Fillion at a convention now that I've seen the show. (When he was at Dragon*Con a few years back I had not seen it yet!)
