For many reasons, the main being I didn't have the gun yet, Dragon Con came and went for me with one big fat regret. I won't get to see your face when you get this gift.

For another reason, Canadian customs, I don't want to try and mail this to you either. So, we're left with other delivery options you and I can discuss privately. I have some ideas . . .

And I figured after the last week, we needed some good spirits and friendship again.

I heard about it about a year ago, If I remember correctly Sarge posted about it here, then he and I wrote back and forth about it in some emails too. November 05. I was having some issues of my own with a friend stealing some of my stuff after he lived with us.

Ash- you aren't the only one getting misty over this.

So just to fill in the gaps-

I used to have a pretty sweet airsoft collection. About 25 guns. Back in Oct of 2005 almost half of it was ripped off by someone I greatly misplaced my trust in (I would rather not discuss any further details).

I filed a police report the next day- but after a couple of weeks, it was painfully clear my guns were gone. 10 guns including several pistols, an M16A1 and my M1928 Thompson (losing that one hurt the most).

I posted what happened over on MatsuCorp as we had an Airsoft Collection thread going there, and I exchanged some personal emails about what had happened (in detail) with a few close board members.

But little by little, when I could afford to, I started rebuilding my collection. Tony(&Cherie) was able to help on occasion (many thanks for that Bro- I still owe you bigtime).



Never did I expect a gift like this! Once again- my thanks goes out to everyone involved!
