The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Great pics Mole, :D

Jonindisguise - Don't take the pith!

I haven't had a proper look at ours yet, eyes have been to tired to look on small camera screen.

Andy'll transfer them onto the computer so I'll have a look at them then and we'll post some up.

Cheers,
Karyn

Notice how even on a major TV channel like ITV it only takes 25secs before Abe appears on camera!! (main article is at 6:40 in)

This is a drawing that Bazfish's youngest daughter did on the train to London BEFORE meeting Abe and the rest of the UKCM (other than Mantroon).

It's VERY perceptive about the nature of the Abe, right down to the spilt can of cider on the floor. It does however show that she has no idea what time of year it is! :)

Nice to see someone took a lot of pics for once. :)

Major camera shake on a lot of them though. Did you have the flash turned off or something similar? :?

I have carpol tunnel syndrome so i have trouble holding the camera steady ... did have the flash turned off as it tends to wash out everything....

You need a camera with either flash 'on' or anti-shake then.

You'd be surprised how good the anti-shake is on digicams nowadays. :)

The scene from blazing saddles springs immediately to mind.

"This is the hand I shoot with."

I have found for camera shakes, If you use both hands it magnifies the problem. One hand can produce better results.

Great pics, will hopefully get some of mine up soon.

The lighting in those exhibition halls always do freaky things to digital pictures, a strange orange glow always seems to appear!

A lot of the time it's just pot luck to get a decent photo!

Cheers,

Andy

The lights in the con were a real pain when trying to take pictures. I took loads but binned most of them because they were blurry.

Come on, Andy - get ya finger out! I wanna see those pics! ;)
