The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey guys, I've been trying to work on a non-USCM project for a while, but I've hit a snag. I'd located someone who could procide me an item I needed, but the bugger is no longer answering his mails, so I have to locate an alternate supplier.

What I'm looking for is this: Image

It's a French Napoleonic Infantry knapsack. This guy is the only source I could find after a good deal of research.

Anyone here knows a supplier of Napoleonic items? Period re-enactment groups that would actually sell their stuff to outsiders, or tell them who they work with?

I'd love the help. :)

I've been working on a 84th impression for a while, and I've not really been disappointed by the things these sutlers

And a link of links...

Thanks for the links. :) Unfortunately, it's the usual problem I've encountered with most sutlers from the Americas: they're great for the Revolutionary War (too early), the War of 1812 (right time period but no French involvement) or the Civil War (too late). But finding actual French Napoleonic stuff is a lot harder.

Still, I'll keep trying. Thanks!
