But drops by myself is kind of lonely and I can’t get Cons to take me seriously.

Yup, join the UKGC - we're a friendly bunch, and the Colonial Marines folk are incredible for their knowledge of everything to do with costume/props and are very experienced at the trooping side of things!

Most of the old school (including myself) have left. No idea as the the state of what's left.

At this point other groups may be the best option.

Pretty sure the Challenger Suite has now been demolished; But if there's anywhere else onsite we could put something together, I'm in!
Also, there's a horror convention in Aberdeen next October that want the UKCM along as guests; and the organiser is well up for an Encounter if she can find a suitable space within the venue!
