The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hello everyone

I started a project with a xeno stasis tank like they find in the Hadleys Hope labs. I started this a couple years ago and haven't done much since this video since I can't quite find the right housing I want for the tank.

The Xeno I 3d printed. Made a few minor changes.

The rest was endless sanding, bondo, paint, repeat over....and over.....and over

Here's the file, I might print one myself so people stop thinking my costume is "call of duty".

One wrapped around the end of a shotgun would look pretty nice!

That look amazing, will look seriously impressive in a tank. Glad to see someone tackle the dead versions for a change.

You can make a display tank for very little money:

Yeah this is the one. I did a few minor changes. In the end nothing I did was noticeable really once painted lol.

That looks fantastic! I do, however, love the way metal looks so I need to do this the hard way.

I think you meant face hugger tank.

Xeno tank would be quite large.

I guess I have always used Xeno interchangeably. Never really thought about it!

Assuming they actually decided to use the phrase xenomorph in relation to the Aliens they discovered, it’s never clarified in the film...

ANYWAY......... need an update on this build!

Being a StarWars 501st nerd I normally strive for super canon accuracy. For this project I think I am just going to go for close enough and enjoy making something that simply looks like it belongs in the ALIEN Universe.
