The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So who wants to be in a magazine?

Ive been talking to the editor of Airsoft International magazine, and they want to do a feature on us!

I need 8 -10 Marines and a bug or two for a photoshoot with them. The only conditions are that you MUST have armour and an airsoft pulse rifle.

Im working with them on a date and location, but i was thinking about suggesting we do it while at London Expo (sat 25th may). Theres an underground carpark and cool looking walkways we could use.

This could be a great bit of publicity for us! Who can make it?

Also, as my Smartgun is now a working Airsoft Smartgun, I'll be using that! So if anyone wants to borrow my Pulsey and/armour, then be my guest!

If I make it down I could possibly supply a second set of armour and pulsey / airsoft shottie to someone, pending their owner's approval.

All we need is a body to fill it.

I should be able to bring mine, just as long as you don't mind incorrect BDU's.
No doubt James can bring his too.

I MIGHT be able to make it on the Saturday, but it's doubtful, depends on babysitting.
G suggested that we could have some pics taken up here if Baz ( AA writer/photographer, regular at S8 ) is still up for it, so both sets could be used in the article - I've messaged Baz about it, so hopefully those who can't make Expo will still have a chance to be involved!

Skapunkninja, what is it they are after exactly? I mean, being an Airsoft magazine and all, I assume they want to hear about Colonial Marine airsoft teams, or what upgrades we've done to the internals..... or is it literally just to take pictures? I've got a pair of forearms littered with BB scars, not that that's any use, but its certainly a noteworthy downside of rocking the USMC rolled up sleeves look!

Chef, I doubt yours are looking much better either eh?

I heal quickly....

Apart from the tooth I had shot out years ago (although the gap has closed up nicely now, so it's not overly noticeable any more), I'm relatively scar free.

I'm sure between us we can give them a real raft of information.
We've got teams (or teams in the making), armour configurations of all sorts for them to take pictures of, pulse rifles with no doubt loads of different mods between us.
More than enough for them to make a page up from, to squeeze in between all those adverts.

its just a photoshoot.

My pulse rifle has already been featured, but they are going to do a little bit about the mods on it, and i'll be giving a short interview and helping them with all the info.

All you have to worry about is looking pretty :)

Well damn sarge, that's all you had to say, looking good is what me and my squad of ultimate badasses do best! Am i right (hint: that's you guys)?!

Chef - i hear you, one million adverts in those things. I always hear tales of loosing teeth but have yet to meet someone who has. Without detracting from the thread topic I wanna hear that story over a beer sometime.

Not much to tell... I was barking an order or shouting an obscenity at the time, my mate (on the opposition) took a shot at me with his stock ICS MP5, crono'ing about 330fps from about 15-20m away. The BB caught me in the gob, I thought what I could taste was the BB, when in fact it was the top half of one of my front lower teeth.
Dentist decided that too much of it had gone to cap, so they had it out. Over time the gap has closed up and you only notice if I point it out.
This was about 7-8 years ago now.

I've taken someone's tooth out with my VSR, at the Asylum in Kidderminster. Damned good shot too... Was about 60-70m away (495fps 0.4g BB (and that 495 is with a 0.2g before anyone asks!)). Caught him square in the mush. It happens, which is why we advocate full face protection at all times... (not that I use it myself.)

Had half my front tooth shot out, hurt like hell! I felt bad for the poor lad who done it though, he was mortified! Serves me right for grinning like a loon as a lead an attack though lol
