I tend to agree. I completely understand wanting to make back on your investment and take advantage of prime advertizing time, but I'd hate for our group to be on the wrong side of the rules on anything.

Last year, at one point on Friday I was standing near our table, just hanging out a few feet to the side. A man from security leading a small group of others approached me and asked if he could borrow my sidearm for a moment. I handed the weapon to the man, and he proceeded to explain to the others about peace bonding, and how this is what it should look like. When he was done, he handed the weapon back, and thanked me, explaining that he'd chosen to approach me because "you Alien guys always know what you're doing." I felt such a sense of pride. I just wouldn't want something to tarnish our reputation with the 'Con staff.

From past conventions business cards are the best form of advertising. People often ask where I got my stuff and I hand them a business card and I got an instant potential customer. I get folks who loved their purchases that they ask for business cards to hand out for me at conventions I'm not going too.

FYI I'm bringing foam board for displaying some of the hand outs and as always we like to have guns and armor on display.
As I'm always at the table (by my own choice because I love it) I can have my armor on display.

Has anyone already printed out handouts?
If not I can get some done and bring them along.
