An interesting incident. I was in L.A. for the day and met up with Rebecca (AKA 'Carmila'). We decided to check out the new 'Cars land' in Disney Island of Adventures. The trip is only about 30 mins from the hotel. However, she's too busy blabbing away and doesnt realize we are going in the direction AWAY from Disney. She finally discovers this after the highway actually ENDS. And says 'Oh sh-t!, I was going the wrong way!'. Now we've all done this, for about a mile, or two or maybe three.. but TWELVE??!!?? Yes, she drove for 12 miles before realizing. And she LIVES THERE! Just thought I'd share this rather amusing moment hanging with the notorious Carmila.

BTW: Cars Land was AWESOME!

I used to go to the Machinegun Shoots in Colorado, which were the biggest ones on the Western sides of the states, but they're not running them anymore. Does Texas have anything like that, or does everyone just go to Knob Creek?

Sometimes, you're just so familiar with a route, or part of it, that you just go on autopilot. I've ridden all the way to work before on a Saturday, when I wanted to go in the complete opposite direction.

I've scheduled my road trip/vacations around the machinegun shoots. On the way there, or the way back, we'd stop to visit friends, or hit awesome restaurants, or go shopping... There's nothing like going to the middle of nowhere, to meet up with a bunch of collectors to shoot their NFA collectables, such as transferable machineguns, and towed howitzers. Shooting big toys can put an epic smile on your face.
