The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

There is also the castle bromwich inn at the fort jester which is not far from the fort dunlop but is on the right side of the area for easy public transport links to stations and LG Arena. the 966 bus stops just outside and it goes to the LG Arena. It also has a pub next door which is cheap and cheerful. Rooms are £56.50 for doubles/ twins and singles.

There is parking and for info purposes the pub is now called fayre & square http://www.fayre-square.com/pub-food/fo ... /pid-M6878

Is this the one you have to pass to get to the Fort Dunlop? Is it close to the Island that comes off the Motorway coming from the LG Arena?

Or am I on the wrong track?

Yeah thats the one, its situated literally next/ below the M6 between spitfire island and the J5 island.

The guys and gals seem already set on fort dunlop. I've always wondered what it is like to stay there but not sure if its worth the extra cost as im in walking distance from there anyway.

Hey Helen.

Usually we are fully dressed in costume if we don't have a changing area. But, since we have hotel rooms. I would say we will get changed in them.

I would PM or ask DATA what he think as he knows the distance to the event and the Hotel rooms.

Helen, it won't matter if your in costume or not. You find a lot of the members here come with costume(s) or without. We accept anyone who wants to join in and have fun.

Don't feel left out because you don't have a costume. Nor feel that you need to put one together. Just be yourself and enjoy the company and get a gist of how we spend a weekend with laughter and great people.

Looking forward to meet you.

-Callum

The hotel is a bit of distance away but Dan Copper does this hotel so he may be better with time and roads to use.

I know the distances etc I live 20 min away from the hotel your staying in,I was just wondering what time you usually met etc etc do you do your own thing during the day or stick around together?
Or because you all seem to be staying together do you not bother planning,do you just have breakfast and go when the time suits?
If thats the plan what about us that are going independently?

Helen
