The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I find your lack of dedication to the Corps and your fellow Marines disturbing Pvt Hohenkerk! Seriously though have a great day.

As for the weekend and the Alien Experience I think perhaps the first thing to be done is to ask Rich if he is willing to run it again since it's been his "baby" for the last few years! If not is he happy for others to take up the baton/torch/challenge of running the Experience?

Next the potential xeno shortage whilst a little limiting need not be the end of the AE as we know it. It just needs to evolve a little a bit like the Dogburster! ;-) After all Ridley Scott started the whole ball rolling with just one Xeno and even James Cameron only had 6 full xenos for our beloved Aliens! I have a "cast" photo from last years event with I believe a total of 8 xenos in it!

Another of my hobbies is creative writing and I already have a couple of script ideas which could help get around any xeno shortage which I would be happy to set down on paper and expand upon to make it a viable and enjoyable Experience for both cast and "audiences".

A final thought it is almost always true that once something stops it is harder to get it restarted than to keep it rolling along! I have heard it suggested that maybe the AE should be "rested" for a year but I think it would be far better to evolve and go on than take a break.

Just my .02 Weyland-Yutani Standard Fiscal Credits!

the 8 zeno was i believe the highest we have had and 4 of those were wall crew. It looks like we can only field two zeno at this time and with no abe. Unless we get a comitment from at least 2 more i don't see how se can run the encouter.

Back at the beginning of the AE, we only had two or three Xenos to hand. Even I've donned a bug suit (ewww sweaty) :)

The AE can be run with only 2 or 3 xenos, but that requires them pretty much being in there all weekend with no breaks... Then there's the tech aspect of it to consider.

It can technically be run with 2 bugs, but it makes it a little weak. Personally I'd feel that we weren't giving a good enough show without at least 3, and the last thing I'd want is to disappoint paying customers. Especially after the awesome success of last year.

How about someone dressed in black with black face cover but with xeno hands, just from the grabbing parts?
All you see, if anything, is the Hands anyway.

We just engineer more grab and scream parts. Might actually make it more spooky.
Films like Jaws and Alien worked so well because you didn't see much of the menace.

I'll be coming to this, had a blast getting face raped by the facehugger in the alien experience last year.
My son Bieber trooper will be coming with me and helping out on the nerf range if required.
