Hopefully doing this as well though still looking for a hotel. Cooper offered to let me stay at his but was gonna book a hotel as back up just in case. We stayed at I think it was a Travel Lodge in the centre but their rooms there at the mo are like £150 a night which is outrageous as we only paid like £20 each a night last time!

Ok due to the fact Rich wedding is on this weekend I think many UKCM will not go to this event. I myself would like to got to the wedding.

i actually didnt realise this clashed with the prometheus opening so off to glasgow with me instead im afraid

Looks like I'm marining it on my own then lol. I'm doing something else costume wise on the Sat but marining it on the Sunday. Will be the first time with all my armour finished including my greaves and lower back piece that the lovely Spat sent out to me a few months back *bounces* yes I'm giddy but meh!

I can't make the wedding weekend as I'll be at the llama park, getting the stuff ready for the South of England Show at Ardingly from the following Thursday.

My work mate Shahab asked me today if I'd like to go to this on the Friday (with him driving up and back), so put me and him down for the Friday.

Had a great but tiring day.

Met Sam (naurarwen) there, in her Hunger Games cosplay costume.

Lance recognised me, but didn't recognise Wierzbowski at first when Trevor turned up in the afternoon.
After Trevor spoke to him he then beamed at him and they hugged.

We're having drinks with Lance and Trevor at the hotel bar this evening, before he has to attend the Con Party, where Trevor was invited to attend to pose for pics and sign autographs.


Edit: Huh, my profile pic has changed. Wonder what's up with that? Will check it when back home, as the original Bug Stomper pic is on my PC I think.

Jason Momoa (actor from Game of Thrones) is good fun, even at the signing table.
He swears a lot.

Following my dinner with Lance at D*Con last year (paid for by Lance), I wanted to return the favour, but Lance was scheduled to attend the official Con Party from 8pm (food & drink supplied), so we agreed to meet in the hotel bar beforehand.

Got there at 6:30pm to find Lance, Jason and Trevor telling various stories to and answering questions from anyone there.

Managed to pay for a round of drinks, then Lance paid for the next one. After that I was tipsy-drunk (after just two pints of Stella ) then we left as the bar cleared when they went off to the party.

Quite a day/night.

Met Superman (Brandon Routh) and Lance. Both were nice and even got a pic with Lance!
