The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So, hands up everyone who will be wearing Charlies/Service C to the NSC meal.

Names on the ready line, people!

Party pooper! :P

If we have a decent number of people we'll have to try and all get together for a photo.

OK, to expand on the theme... who will be wearing uniform, that's Charlies or BDUs, to the meal?

Bearing in mind Malikas dress code for the dinner, I would assume Service C uniform is fine – certainly don't see why not and it would be a really nice touch. So I think everyone is safe there.

But if memory serves me correct I don't think she will allow BDU's so I'd send her an email or PM to check on that one, Vicky.

I'll be wearing the usual flat cap and tweed jacket as seen in my photo there on the left.

Wearing Service C shirt with my kilt, since Aliens costumes have been disallowed for the Aliens meal...

Never thought that about the BDUs. Please double check. Don't want people to get turned away.

The flat cap never goes out of fashion. ;)

I don't think anyone was planning on wearing BDU's to the dinner anyway, as far as I know at least, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I was and my guest was too.

However, ADC (or Malika?) did post ages ago about the dress code and "No BDUs", so it's not a problem, we'll just attend in normal shirt and trousers. :)

Just make sure it's smart casual, i.e. no jeans, trainers, etc.

I need to find something permissible to wear that I don't wear for work. Unfortunately, I wear smart casual 3 days a week and a suit 2 days a week. Therefore, I might have to find a nice girly dress too ...
