Hi all,

I was just going to order some name tapes, could you guys please tell me what colour the name tape is
and what colour the thread should be? Also is there a standard length for the name tapes ?

Length tends to be the width of the pocket they sit above, but if your surname is longer, that's fine.

Bear in mind that the tape site doesn't need length details, just the lettering (and full stops in U.S.C.M. or U.K.C.M.)

Does anyone know of any other suppliers of name tapes that use the correct font.
I emailed the people at the link that Steve gave me, no reply. Does anyone in the
U.K do them ?

Sorry, forgot about it until now.

Just measured the pockets and they're 135mm across, as are the tapes I bought from someone who I think got them from that site.

My SA tapes (written in permanent marker pen) are slightly longer, about 150mm, but depending how long your name is, yours might end up longer too.

Awesome Steve, thanx for that. I found a place on ebay U.K. that makes custom
name tapes so i'll see what they turn out like.
