Again - I know where you're coming from. I've got a kid and her dad decided to emigrate to the other side of the planet. Then I got married to someone else and that didn't work out. And then there were a couple of other mild fuck-ups and now poor Bolty's stuck with me! lol!! Believe me - I wrote the book on relationship fuck-ups! (I would have worn the t-shirt too but it didn't come in my size )

Well while that may seem like a good idea just now, I doubt your kid would see it that way. As hard as it is you gotta take a step back. Things will work out in time and if she's intentionally keeping you from your little one then she will lose out in the long run coz kids don't appreciate that kinda shit. Believe me, it would have been easier for me to not have Sky's dad in my life sometimes coz he was a bloody nightmare - still gives me grief from the other side of the planet - but I never ever show her how I feel about him because that's not my place. He's nothing to do with me now and if she knew how I felt about him sometimes it would only hurt her which I refuse to do.
