D'you know...I had a strange dream once.
I'd been out for the evening and someone had tried to attack my fiance. I had fought them off and accidently ended up beating the crap out of them so I ended up going to prison.
Aside from being totaly distraught that I was being kept away from the woman I love; the feeling that I remember most was one of childlike excitement because the prison uniform included these very trousers! I was over the moon to discover that they were a real, found item and was hoping that when I got out they'd let me keep them...

Does that seem slightly disturbing to anyone else?

Interestingly, from that last closeup it appears that the jacket is not made from the same sweatshirt fleece as the trousers. The weave appears to be a brushed cotton twill.

There's an awful lot of work gone into those jackets. If they truly were custom made from scratch then they've gone all out on them. Lined and everything.

The more I look at the jacket and google the terms 'quilted, bomber, jacket' the more I think they are heavily modified pre-existing jackets. On the inside of the jacket it appears almost a military green colour, while the outside has been heavily weathered, leading to that light brown colour.

Any experts on military bomber jackets hanging around? Failing that, anyone got David Perry or Bob Ringwood's phone numbers?

And after seeing the pants I am thinking found item as well.

...Jackets and pants are in the same colour, light green, but slighty or deeply distressed.

Those pants, you can see in the photos, are slighty distressed, almost nothing, while the jacket is very distressed, but not deeply, ...to a "brown colour"!

Most of the costumes of the 22 prisoners is different from each other and were modified ...and also more or less aged and distressed ...

When you say "light green" Gio... the sample I have is very much an olive drab.

NOT A MILLION MILES AWAY FROM THIS COLOUR (bold used to make text bigger and esier to see the colour)

Are all the trousers much the same base colour or is the sample I have darker than most appear?
How do they compare in colour to the longs johns?

Gareth ... much depends if the item is very distressed or not ...
The base colour is very close to the pants in the photos ...perhaps, as you said, ... darker ...
I want say ... between light green and olive drab...

For anyone who's interested, here are the two fabric samples I have along side some other pieces for comparison:

A Sage N2B jacket, a piece of olive green velcro (flight suit patch) and a length of olive green '58 pattern webbing.

The colour of the fabric is very much a light/dusty grey/green

I have also colour corrected one of Gio's photos to resemble the fabric I have here as closely as possible. This is only good on my monitor of course, yours will be different but hopefully the comparison between my colour correction and Gio's original photo will give some idea.

Giò, you're spoiling us mate, any chance of coming to a con and setting up a display?

So far I've spotted two types of tags... Looking at the images I can't see there's any way they could be even close to being the same tags.

Main image is from when 85 receives the transmission from the company saying they'll arrive in two hours, inset is from just after the 'axe' scene where everyone is sitting discussing going after the Alien.
