The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

17 goes inside the loading port on the left side. The button on the outside presses against it, to release the loaded cartidges.

Theres one screw that holds it in place, that goes in from the outside. The spring and button either side that screw are fitted on the inside

It goes inside the receiver at the loading port, secured in the middle with a screw and a pin at either end - the front pin is sprung. It keeps the shells in the mag tube until the loading ramp moves past it to release one as you rack the action.

The tube is easy enough. Just cut a piece down to the right length, then sand the top flat.

The key on the side was made by Data. Thats the hard part if you dont have any metal work tools.

well. i've started this build and heres the MGC PFC m31 in a real SPAS cage.

I've lined up the m31s ejection port with the centre of the REM SPAS cut, which has been drawn on for now.

Nice fit. Barrels need cutting, and trigger guard also. Will need a couple of extra small cust either side of trigger due to safety button ( i think its the safety).

So if youre using an MGC m31 there is very little extra that needs doing, than the normal REM cuts.

how much did u shorten the cocking tube to get the mgc to go in that far in the cage ?

here is how I have done it...

After cutting all the pieces down, I used two of these things (curtain pole holders)... availiable in B&Q or any other hardware store!.

Cut the end off so I was left with two tubes, these already had a screw hole in them used to hold onto the curtain pole that is usually used, this screw would be used to hold the "curtain pole" adapter onto the shotgun racking section, and also to hold the spas handle.

I was worried this was not strong enough so I reinforced the screw holes a little by using two extra nuts and sticking them on used some "JB weld" (i think its like a epoxy glue, mix 2 parts together and it hardens).

It holds very well and has been racked more times than I can count!
