The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I think it's an outstanding place to start! Pretty easy to get the slacks and shirt, the cover or hat, is prolly the toughest one to find.

I was considering doing a Class C. I got hold of the biggest blouse I could find and it still didn't fit my 'assets'. I guess female Marines aren't very top heavy. ;) Having said that, Divine_Ambrosia did a great female version of the Charlies so it's doable.

Well Im only a 'D' cup, so it shouldnt be too hard to find, Im just really tall so length might be an issue

That's not even close to a proper uniform... What she did was a pin-up model costume.

A good alternative for people who can't find a shirt that fits, Propper's Short Sleeve Tactical shirt. Just remove the epaulettes and Dom's your uncle.

Hehehehe! I meant that she managed to squeeze into one of the blouses (at least I assume it's a USMC blouse) rather than it being a serious version of the female Service C. ;)

Taj - as you're in the States you should have more luck finding a blouse. I know they do long lengths but it depends on their definition of 'long' in ladies sizes. I had to put up with what I could find on eBay.

As a Marine and don't take it the long way ladies... there are varying grades of "bumpy" with "bumpy" Marines and I'm sure they make shirts for all sorts of sizes. If you use a current Marine khaki shirt and can't find one in your size, I can skidoodle to the PX and see what I can find.

Ok I may just have to take you up on this offer for the pure joy of picturing you explaining why you need a female shirt for someone really tall with a 40D bust

...

And I knew there was a reason I was going to the MCX today.... but I didn't go. Don't worry I have to hit the uniform shop up for new stripes, so I can take a gander at what we have.

LOL! And I've still got another four weeks to go!

Trying to get back on topic - gi-rene, I'd be interested in a sizing chart for female uniforms if you can get one. I have enough issues trying to remember how to convert US sizes to UK ones as it is and I'm guessing the military probably don't follow the general 'fashion' measurements that stores use.
