The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Thats right folks, its guinea pig time again.

Sarge has e-mailed me the new reciepes (apparently he has not been too well lately, I have said get well soon from all of us).

Anyways, aprons on and get cooking the latest two, Illegal Alien (Vasquez's Delight) and Acid for Blood.

ILLEGAL ALIEN 'Vasquez delight' (Chillies con crane)

Put a large frying pan on medium heat
Add Virgin Olive Oil (medium cover the bottom of pan)
Add 400g of mince salt and brown
Add 1 large finely chopped onion+ 6 cloves of garlic+ a splash of ginger, constanly stirring all the time, to keep the mixture from sticking.
Add four large tomatoes finely chopped + 4 whole chillies, or Chilli powder (to taste) add boiling water and
cook down, also I would suggest adding a tin of tomatoe puree.
Add 1 tin of Kidney beans, plus a few pine nuts, and for a few dollars more add a splash or 2 of cooking Brandy, I suggest you drink the rest, then see to you ole lady!

'Acid for blood' A fine Barbeque sauce.

This sauce has been in my family for a very long time, in fact, when my Nana passed away, around two hundred people turned out to say goodby, I now know that at least 50 of these people only came to see if Nana may have left the receipe for this sauce hanging about. It is time that I shared it with my troops!
The Sarge. By the way, this sauce can be used on anything, meat fowl or fish, it is to die for. Standby troops

Into a large saucepan, fillied with boiling water, add, 6 large finely chopped tomatoes. (You may want to peel your toms, but I like the goodness in the skins, so I don't bother)
4 or 5 chillies, and a dash of tabasco.
Next we add 5 or 6 whole chillies, as well as 4 cloves of garlic, now comes the good part. Add a shot glass or 2 of brandy, (well you know me, one for the pot, two for me!)
Cook all this down on a medium heat, now if you find the tomatoes still to bulky, mashed them with a potatoe masher.
Add a pinch of sea salt, to taste, followed by a good grind of black pepper. Now for the real deal, add (to taste) brown sugar and two tsp of honey, if needed add more brandy( one for the pot, 2 for me) and brown sugar. This is all about taste will take about three hours, but by God, it's worth it.
This sauce can be frozen, and used as needed, it does not have to be done on a B-Q. My daughter loves it, in fact she drinks it, must be the brandy!

Drink the brandy and take care of your homework, That's an order! All stand down!

Sarge.
