This will be my commissioning date into the United States Marine Corps.
Yes, surprise, I'm not dead. Just busy.
I just joined Raider Company a month ago from the Navy ROTC side here at Virginia Tech. The pictures above were unfortunately from last semester. (3 mile hump and FEX) By the way, our Marine Corps company "Raider Co" is named after the Raiders of WWII in the pacific. ROTC is why I haven't really been posting to the Aliens Legacy, as it's fairly busy here between the schoolwork and other responsibilities. Virginia Tech is also a senior military college, so there is a "Corps of Cadets" which regiment my lifestyle like a Military Academy would. Oh ,also, I'm in the regimental band, the Highty Tighties. We played at the capital back in January.
We will also be playing in New Orleans in a parade right before Mardi Gras. It's pretty exciting. Also what is exciting it turn day is right around the corner. It's where freshmen turn into upperclassmen in the Corps of Cadets. I'm looking forward to it; It's been a long time being a freshman.
So anyways, I just thought I'd let everyone know what was going on. I do visit here every so often, I just don't have a lot of time to post. Hope everyone has been good while I've been away. It's a shame I don't have more pictures from the Marine Corps side of things.
