The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Well I am certainly not rich. I work a crappy fulltime job that barely makes over 35k a year. When I say "buy" what I really means is pay for years and years into high interest credit.

Before I could afford to even do that, I use to draw everything I liked fullsize. It just wasn't enough to dream it. That's why in some of the pics you can still see large drawings on the walls.

If I were rich I would need a warehouse for all the crap I would build... LOL

I just now caught that, too, and was about to ask the same thing. course, it also raises the question: do any of them know about any of the others?

and paleo, just a heads up. I went through 20 pages of people results on Facebook for the name "Steve O'Brien", no-one with a fire-y profile pic. oh well.

Does your wife know about that?!

Harry

LoL, yes its a mutual thing. Now the GF's dont know about each other but they all know about the wife. Its a pretty cool arrangement. Pretty much any girl that is interested in chaining me down to a monogamous relationship runs the other way when I explain my situation...helps weed out the clingers LoL!

Not to mention I get a wide selection from age 19 to 39 ;)

Just a heads up / reminder to all from the forum rules:

Quote:
4. No "overly" offensive language - Users are encouraged to avoid using "overly" offensive language and vulgarities when they post. We don't currently use a word filter on these forums, and we've never needed one before as the majority of the members are pretty self regulating. Please respect those who do not want to read swear words and vulgarities and normally avoid the use of such language in your posts.

Thanks folks,

Harry

Yeah, We've all been there mate.
Myself, I was just under 6 months away from my actual Marriage day when I came home from work early and found my financee in bed with my so-called best friend.. Yeah.
I fractured one on the bones in my hand punching a hole in the wall.
It was either that or hit him. And I didn't really want to do time for murder, Which I thought was uncommonly clear thinking of me, especially at the time.

I walked away leaving her in about 4 grand of debt to pay for the now cancelled wedding.

So yeah, all I can advise is you go on. You'll suffer ups and down but you just keep going. Do what makes you happy. At the end of the day, there's only one persons happiness you have to be responsible for.. That's your own.

It's ok to feel sory for yourself from time to time but don't do it too much or you'll end up like this guy..

You really want to be him?

its true man, we just gotta pick ourselves up and move long. if i didnt make a concious effort to stop being upset about a great many things in my life, then i'd never have this far along, i would never have foudn this forum. whcih brings me to my next point! always remeber that even though it doesnt look like it at the time, for every bad thing that happens there will be something equally good or better thing that will happen. as well find something to take a hold of, when my randma died a few years back, i found solace in my catholic faith, and its sad that shes gone , but now im a better catholic. when my ex left me, i got really depressed, so i was looking for something to grab a hold of. i watched my favorite movie (guess what it is) thought, theres gotta be folks out there that dig this movie too, search it up and found this exact community. so remember stevens law of physics "for every bad thing that happens, there will be a just as good or better thing that will happen" peace be with you bro

I think the children in Africa dying of AIDS and malnutrition might disagree with that.

You are who you are, you wear your own crown

And like Kev said.....if you think its bad.....look around the world....your 'bad' may be paradise to someone else.
Count your blessings ;)
