im just wondering at what point the writers decided that 4 of the main cast were going to be cylons? i know it was talked about from the start of the show that maybe one of the main cast could be a cylon..but to have 4 of the main cast???

something i not thought about before.... there was 3 cylons serving aboard the Galactica before the Cylons attacked... 2 of which were having an affair Robo sex !!!

maybe thats why sometimes i think it does not make sense to have them turning out to be Cylons.....

Maybe Tigh was based on a real person and had his memory implanted.... Tigh was supposed to have fought in the first cylon war...

Production models always have fewer features..

This would explain why they get older. We know the final five age because Adama's known Tigh for years.
Might also explain why the final five are cross-species fertile.

Well this is the beauty if Tigh. A lot of people were up in arms "he fought in the Cylon War, how the frak can he be a Cylon?"

But remember this - Bill Adama met him after the Cylon War. We have no knowledge as to whether he was actually there, or just faked records and inserted. We don't know if skinjobs age, was Cavill originally younger, or "built" at his age? He is after all, Number One.

Finally got through all the eps and I'm gonna float an idea. This is totally out of nowhere based on clues others have used here:

ok here goes:

I think Felix Gaeta is the 5th cylon and it will be his singing that brings them all together. He'll start feeling the phantom thing in the leg and one of the songs he'll sing because of it will be All Along The Watchtower, the song heard by the 4 at the end of season 3. Since only the 4 know the significance of the song if it is sung in public they could use that as a way to confirm and approach Felix about it.

I'm a huge fan of the BSG soundtrack and that remake of the Bob Dylan classic and my brain came up with the theory. I am also discounting the 3's statement about 4 of the final 5 are in the fleet...I'm trying to recall her saying that but I wouldn't be surprised that it would turn out to be a lie to give her more leeway.

The interesting part about having to wait so long until the show concludes is that it gives a legion of fans to come up with a plethora of outcomes ahead of time, the whole 1000 monkeys and typewriters thing

I'd say wait until Wednesday at least to talk about the new episodes. The new series starts in the UK on Tuesday (20th).

Though Cooter has posted a massive spoiler already so it's probably to late to worry about it.

Oh wow I totally forgot about the delay. This is the only show on tv that I watch since giving up on Heroes again so of course I'm slightly enthusiastic about it.

I've got a review and some stuff in my journal, perhaps link to that so the curious can see what's in it and those wishing to remain in the dark can avoid.

Well, the thread does have 'Spoilers' in the title, so spoilers are fair game. But in the interest on not frakking it up for the UK viewers, either stealth color your spoilers, or don't post until the following Wednesday after the episode has aired in the UK (US airs on Friday, UK 4 days later on Tuesday).

Regarding last episode and the 5th reveal of Ellen Tigh... I have another bad theory. That Starbuck is in fact Ellen.

The reason I came up with that idea is because we know that Tigh has aged 30 years since he's known Adama. Who is to say that Ellen didn't look like Cara 30 years ago? I don't know that we've seen a picture of young Ellen, have we?

That's a good point but what about Boomers kid!?
In the Presidents and Boomers dream/vision in previous episodes, they see Caprica 6 holding Boomers kid as a baby, with Baltar at her side standing in some grand looking temple.
What's so special about her, other than shes the first offspring from a Human and Cylon relationship.
What I really want to know is, Where the hell are they!? It's not Earth but a Nuked Cylon planet they landed on, but who Nuked it?
Or alternatively, maybe they are all Cylons! That's why Baltars Cylon detector didn't work.

Of course it's not Earth, but another Colony. A lost Cylon colony. Tigh saw 6 as Ellen... what if 6's age into Ellen?

I personally like what Robot Chicken said about Ron Moore throwing darts at a board to determine who is a Cylon.

I thought the likes of Baltar and Six were the angels, but they couldn't actually Physically do anything.
Whereas Kara came back from the dead and was Physically there, fully interactive, but then just dissapears at the end.

Only a small nitpick really, I really enjoyed it.
