Would it be worth having a seperate 'packing thread' with lists or one copy and paste list of stuff people are taking to help each other not forget things? Even if certain things are specific to you it might jog memory?

Bad news guys, looks like DragonCon is being canceled.

I just saw on the news that Russia has invaded Georgia, so I'm sure travel to Atlanta would be pretty risky since it's now a war zone.

Just thought I'd drop in to wish you guys happy trails, have a blast at D-Con, sucks balls I cant make it but money and work wont allow such pleasures at the moment...

Big thanks to Techno Viking for making an action figure of me! How cool is that? My brother will pick it up at D-Con, great job mate and a cool way to get a bit of cash for charity, nice moves.

As the first UKCM member to be back home, let me jump in here and let you know that the UK Invasion was a HUGE success. The Americans will be walking funny for weeks to come after what the Brits did to them.

UKCM Black ops

I'll be loitering about Heathrow until 2015 tonight, at least I'm back in a proper country.

Bar stewards wont even let me check in my luggage until three hours before the flight.

Got back home after being picked up by sister and bro-in-law.

I guess I'll be labelled Pervert of the UKCM after what went on at D*Con.

Pics to follow once I've sorted stuff out at home.

Also pre-registered for next year before we left.

To those in the UKCM who haven't made it over there yet; you should start saving now (or get a small loan) to get there next year.

It's all good, away to board my flight shortly... After a whole weekend of no luck finding an unsecured WLAN and a really crap paid for WiFi connection in the hotel, I finally found a totally open network at one end of T5, appears to be a BA staff network from the SSID. Win.

Good to hear everyone is getting back safely, I second what PVB is saying, the guys and gals that didn't get out this year seriously need to experience D*Con, it's just miles ahead of what we get over here.
