The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

12, overzealous, too much time...

Seems like your average Halo player to me.

I think the kid deserves a little credit.
He's got some early prop making talent.

Not only that, but he's actually DOing something, not getting fat on the couch, playing Nintendo.

Looks like most of the "comments" are supportive, but some of them are pretty low.

Who tells a little kid to "get a fu*king life" ?

He's got a life... doing exactly what little kids do.

Instead, he's been sitting on his couch playing Halo on Xbox.

An adult (over 16 rating, IIRC) game too.

Not bad props for someone his age though. :)

Yeah, I guess he would have had to have been playing something,
to figure out all the weapons.

Nicely done kid, love that the some of his stuff seems fairly robust too.
Shame some of the posts on that youtube clip were not more pleasant.

Then again when have "WE" (costumers/Prop Builders) always had positive comments from the "Normal" population?

Small minded ppl have a hard time accepting anything that isn`t to there liking, till of course most of their friends decide it`s cool.

look at this other guy, named Parker.
Spent his summer making weekly propmaking tutorials. He started by making a Steadycam!

I wonder if he had in mind of making a smartgun down the line...

I like how he's got all the model animations down as well. That pushes it from cool to awesome.

Wow that is monumentally Geeky!

Not that I mean that as an insult. That kid will one day have better props and weapons than all of us put together. :)

But yeah, methinks he shouldn't be playing Halo. But that's the Parent in me.

You know...

I'm amazed at how brutally cruel some people can be with their comments.* Must take a really big person to kick the crap out of a kid over the internet.

*(Not directed at anyone here- I mean the you tube comments  ).

some people cannot understand anything that they don't personally do, and are afraid of whatever they don't understand, and thinks saying harsh words against what scares them will make them stronger.

In reality, making a Halo suit for a kid isn't worst then playing street basketball pretending to be Michael Jordan. But we all know that its cool to wear sports gear to a sport event, but not to wear scifi gear to a scifi movie, so all those anti-geek-low-lifes simply take it up the guys that can't defend themselves, as its the only thing they can achieve anyway.

You'd face any of those retards and talk with them to realize they are clueless and have low self esteem.

However, I'm glad there's quite a lot of positive comment to couteract the idiocy you can read on there. What I wonder is - who posted the video? is it some relative of the little one??

Reading some of those comments just reinforces my belief that internet anonymity brings out the worst in the human race.

"outcry27:
The irony of people taking the time to post comments on an internet video to say "get a life" just cracks me up.

He's just a kid having some fun. At least he's acting his age - what's your excuse?"

Felt like I needed to stick up for the little guy!
