The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Picked up one of these for $19.99 before Christmas last year and just took it out of the box last night...

The G.I. Joe "Dragonhawk" dropship!

Needs a bit of a repaint (such as the neon green buttons), but I think it looks pretty badass!

I'm going to give the whole thing a shot of dullcote, paint the missiles white (they are hard to see- but are in the weapons pods just above the skis), and maybe some weathering.

Joe toys have come a long way; I love this thing! :D

Admittedly that thing looks really sick but it's not much of a dropship is it unless the joes tape them elves to the belly for deployment

It actually comes with a big cargo pod that fits underneath. Not scaled to 3 3/4 joes either, the figs from this line were about half as tall. I got one on sale last year too Kev and I love it. Really cool vehicle with all the lights and sounds and such.

There is also a small Joe mechasuit that attaches to it that can be deployed.

Yeah I thought the cage that came with it was kinda dorky looking so I left it off.

I'm on the lookout for the updated VAMP (which is compatable with the Dragonfly dropship):

I thought so too! Take off the skids and weapon pods, paint it silver and there you go.
