The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

They even had this Pirate ship sail past, firing cannons, which were answered by "onshore batteries"!! It was sooooo cool!

We had a great time and we're upgrading Julie's costume- got her a corset at the Festival, plans are for: new blouse, skirt, pirate belt, re-hang sword, new pistol, hat, etc.!

It was just one helluva great time!! Should have taken more pics!!!!Don't know what was the matter with me!

And, subscribed to Pirates Magazine, it's waay cool!

That looks like it was a fantastic time.
I wish the pirate festival here in Toronto looked that good.

So tell us about the new flintlock, is it plastic, wood, what?

And I wasn't aware that zombie pirates were so fond of animal skulls.
But then again I don't know all that many zombie pirates.

Yeah, it was soooo much fun! Don't know about the Toronto one bro, but day-um, this was great!

Just to make sure we're clear, it wasn't a "fantasy Pirate Festival", those were the only fantasy Pirates!

I don't know why I didn't, but I should have taken pics of the 50 or so outstanding, historical Pirates. They were soooo good, it was as they stepped not only off a set, but out of history. VERY COOL !!

The Blunderbuss- is made of wood and metal. They had another blunderbuss, bigger barrel, shorter overall length, but a plastic stock! Aaaaugh!!

All my pistols, the wheellock and the flintlock are metal and wood.

Gotta get a pepperbox next...
