The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Question: What kind of effect does the VCR have on Paintball markers and supplies?

I've disallowed international shipping on my paintball auctions but if there's no need to then I could double my market exposure.

The only caveat is that the markers are 'full auto', this may effect any decision by the powers that be.

Thoughts?

Matt

We currently have a ban in Canada on 43 cal paintball markers, due to their realistic size. Perhaps it will be similar?

What stuff you sell Matt.?

Parts are exempt from the ban. Just as long as there arn't enough to make a complete gun looking object.

Not definitive but because Paintball markers don't *normally* look like real firearms then they should be OK.

Full auto no. Turbo modes or no more than two paintballs discharged per trigger pull was my understanding..

"While only the courts can offer a final ruling, it seems likely that a paintball gun capable of fully automatic or burst fire would count as a prohibited weapon under Section 5(1)(a) of the Firearms Act 1968. The maximum penalty for possessing such an item is ten years imprisonment. "

"Further discussions this week and letters exchanged between the UKPSF and the Home Office have confirmed that Section 5(1)(a) prohibits any weapon, which discharges two or more missiles with one operation of the trigger."

"With all these points being taken into consideration the United Kingdom Paintball Sports Federation has decided that as of today (26/01/01) the only recognised mode for a paintball marker is SEMI - AUTOMATIC.

ONE PULL OF A TRIGGER
RELEASES ONE BURST OF GAS
FIRING ONE PAINTBALL.
Accidental double balling will not be deemed as breaking this rule."

Hope this helps Matt.

Don't UK teams participate in the Millenium Series and if so... do they just not use Millenium-spec ramping?
