The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

A note to you all, this offer is ONLY being extened to the Aliens Legacy forums and it's members. No one else is getting this offer, and I've thought long and hard about this...

I'm offering to do some commision pieces. All hand drawn and inked, all my drawings are 100% done by myself in my own time.

You name, I'd like to try and draw and ink it up for you. However, there are some terms to this. Hi resolution shots of this drawing will not be available with out my signature water mark on it.

If you want a real print it works like this:

I draw what you want, and if you would like I'll also color it using Photoshop. I would then print it out on hi-grade glossy photo paper and personally sign it. And then send it to you. The catch is that the printed and signed hard copies are a mere 30 bucks.

30 bucks?! Am I out of my mind?

No. I put a lot of work into my art and would gladly do the same for you fine gents, also, the money I make from this is going into a fund to help me buy my full Colonial Marines costume, which is going to cost me a pretty penny. (And I only have 80 bucks so far.)

Please help a guy out and get something in return. The drawing is free, the signed printed and mailed copy is 30 bucks.

Some examples:

Other art available on my deviant art site...

The forum is open.

Where do you stand on producing work for use as a tattoo?

Your style looks ideal for a tattoo I've been wanting for a long, long time... Obviously, donations to your build a Colonial Marine costume will be forthcoming! :)

I'd love a pic of me in my RE gear. But before I can send cash I need to get it approved by my financial officer. (aka The wife)

I forgot to answer your question directly in the PM's, so here it is for you.

Image

Designed by myself, made possible by Scott at True Tattoo Richmond, Va. Location? My girlfriend's chest.

Edit:

I also mentioned in some of my PMs that I might have some trouble getting likeness with my "comic" style.

Image

Working on Tony's Marine image proved to me that likeness won't be a problem.

I thought about making it more expensive. But I kind of get payed in three ways already. There's the monetary value, yes, but then there's the fact it brings me closer to 800 dollars for my Marine gear, and the fact that someone likes my stuff enough to want a copy in thier home or scrap book or anywhere is a big compliment in itself.

So I thought 30 bucks would be a fair price. Also I have a work list here in the order I'm processing these so far:

Tony
Dom

They've sent me thier requests and I'm on them. Hope to hear from the rest of you all soon.

A quick question before I think about what sort of pic to ask for:

How big would the printed pieces be?

Time for good news/bad news.

Good news. I'm still working on the drawings, and have not withdrawn my offer.

Bad news. I'm currently enrolled in college, an am stage manager for an upcomming producion which keep me at school from 9 in the morning untill 6 at night. Afterwards I go to work and get off anywhere from 11 pm to 4 am. Needless to say my time is limited.

Fear not however! As I am still working on them, and had to restart Tony's piece after I decded he last one was boring. So again to keep apitites wet, I share with you a WIP:
