Um, ever seen movies like Die Hard or Lethal Weapon?
Or Aliens?

The "heros" don't "fight" with the weapon much. Overexaggerated recoil doesn't look that much more realistic.
Besides, the idea of a weapon (in many cases) is to reduce recoil so your barrel stays on target for follow up shots. Makes it harder to kill the enemy if you're fighting the weapon. Might as well whip out your sword and start hacking.
Now, if I were firing a... Ruger Redhawk in .44 Magnum (which I HAVE done...) then you'd see
all sorts of exaggerated recoil. Because, yes, when it comes to .44 magnum, I'm a wuss. I can admit it.

I totally agree. Like I said, I didn't read the manual, and only slightly messed with the settings. The flashes in my video should be much "tighter" and less "gassy" looking. Plus, the auto 9 has a vented barrel shroud/weight, so there should be 3 jets of flame instead of just one. But in the demo you can't mod the existing flame effects (aside from size/density/color), or create your own.
