The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ello peeps.

Well having done the rounds at a few cons and been looked after by Andy S for the last year or twol, I've got my Halcyon facehugger back
and in need of some tlc. Apart from the fact that it was all icky and gooey ( hmmm ) from the lacquer going off, it needed a new paint job anyway.

So I've set about stripping all the paint off it and redoing it all and was gonna do a blog/tutorial thing 'in the process'.

Only thing is, I've started already and dont have any shots of the hugger prior to it being 'restored'. I've found a couple from the picture galleries of guys that have done some of the recent con's ( i.e Mantroon with it wrapped around his head and a pred holding it near his face ) sooo...

Anyone got any piccies of it apart from those, and if not, any problems using those pics in a tutorial?

Cheers

:xeno:

Chris

I took a pic of one at the NSC con, but don't know if it's the Halcyon one:

No problem, but it's not hosted on my site, so you may want to save it onto your site anyway. :)

Hey Chris, that 'stripped' paint job actually looks really cool, looks like a dead hugger after it has shed its skin!

:)
