The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just wanted to let you all know, I started editing the video from the NSC.

Damn.

I think Baz said it best when he said that I came all the way to England and all the video I was going to go home with was going to be filled with latent homosexuality, and Purple Pixie flashing her boobs.

I've watched 2.5 hours of the video so far (which I've condensed to 30 minutes), and so far, Baz is right on the money! Though Kona, and Mantroon also flashed their boobs. And I did see a few hints of some latent heterosexuality, but it's very faint.

Just wanted to keep you guys in the loop!

Ok, first complete cut got the video got it down to 45 minutes. I'll try and trim that down to like 35 or 40. Still debating if I should keep the 5 minute rant of Paul and Pete ripping apart the 501st.

Hmmmm....

:)

But watching the video did make me miss you UK folk. You better have another convention soon!

I trimmed it down to 40 minutes today. There's about 8 minutes of me just eating. But I'm keeping that in for its artistic esthetics. There's also 12 minutes of me mispronouncing Leicester, and 4 minutes of Paul lifiting his shirt.

There's also a lot of spooge gags, black slime, and Darren making out with Abe. Gotta keep that.

Other than that, there's a lot of stuff with Terry, though I may trim that down a bit, some footage of the bug hunt, and the Alien Encounter.

We'll see. I'd love to get it down to 30 minutes, but that may be tough. We'll see what happens when I get someone else to sit down and watch it and critique it.

Still, looking forward to it.

Fraz made the cut, and even got his name on screen!

Of course, he was teaching me about British Spiders at the time, but he did make the cut.

The final cut is 35 minutes. I can get it shorter, but I would have to cut some of the conversations with Terry English, and I like them.

Well, I shot like 5 hours of tape, but most of it was just people sitting around doing nothing. I usually just shoot video and wait for silly things to happen. Works all the time at DragonCon. But when it's all done, I like to edit the footage to make it a fun thing to watch, so you're not just sitting around fast forwarding through it all looking for the good parts. This way, it's all good parts.

Except when Mantroon is in screen.
