The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I've taken off the people who put down maybe's. No offense ;)
If you are now sure your coming please add yourself back onto the list or take yourself off if things have now changed.

Also, I checked with the hotel that I posted details of and the Restaurant is open till 11 pm and the bar is open till 12pm.

Lastly, I heard back today that the show def opens at 10 a.m. and we have access from 7 a.m. I would suggest that we should be there by 9 a.m. at the latest to set the table up and get changed etc.

Would also be good to know who plans on staying at the hotel and who is kipping round someone else's place and wether or not this means you would be coming along to the restaurant for a meal in the evening.

Cheers

Darren

This is the hotel which I posted details of earlier on the thread. We dont have to eat/drink there but since people will be staying there (I'm assuming) it would make sense no. And is fairly central between myself/Rich/Kevc (if people are staying at Kev's?)

Is anyone staying at the PTI that Darren mentions above? I would more likely go if costs could be shared (i'd be staying fri/sat nite)

Si, I believe that The Clangers and Munkey will be staying at the hotel on the Saturday night. ADC/Russ will be staying there Fri/Sat night. So Paul might be looing for a roomy on the Sat night but thatr doesn't help you for the Friday.
I don't know how many people are staying at Rich's Friday night? is that an option for the Friday and then hotel with Munkey on the Saturday? Rich?

If any of that is wrong then please correct me.

Cheers

Darren

Just so people know, at the moment there are 12 twin rooms left on the Friday night but only 3 twin, non-smoking and 2 twin, smoking rooms available on the Saturday.

Will do Rich. And fry up is always good.

Me and the Pixie will be arriving at the pyramid centre on the Saturday morning, as Sarah's evil work means it will be far too late for us to make a move to Portsmouth on the Friday night.

the main entrance is next to the swimming pool entrance, the loading bay is on the right hand side of the pyramids. call me if you have any problems. doors open for setting up at 7.00,

I figure if we get there by 9a.m. then that should be plenty of time to set up the table and get changed. The show opens at 10 btw.

Just to warn you guys...

Me and Kona are dying of particularly bastard-like flu, so it's possible that we may not make it tomorrow.

The spirit is willing but the flesh is tired and snotty: we'll do our best.

Thanks to everyone who came down to this event, was great to see everyone one last time before the New Year.

Had a great day and night, Happy Birthday again Andy.

The show, although only a one dayer was better than expected I think and hopefully there will be more in the future.

My pics are now up here:

See you all at the next one :)
