The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Got a wild hair you know where, and I'm trying to put together a Endor Rebel Commando, got a bunch of it sourced out and enroute, but for the helmet. I know what the original was, a ANH-10 or something thereabouts...

Does anyone have a Endor Rebel Commando Helmet they'd be willing to part with?

Or, even just the "donut" part?

Appreciate any leads too!

Get thine ass over to :

http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/endorbunker/

Join. Read messages about the recent helmets from tk560.

They might be on his site www.tk560.com

And it's an AN-h-15 helmet.

No problem. I got one myself. It comes with the plastic ears, in case you don't get a "Real" cloth helmet

Just joined! Posted, trying to get the donut and ears. I don't have the real cloth helmet, saw one on ebad for over $100-

Working on something similar that might just work out fine.

Thanks again bro!

Always glad to help. You are so in luck too. Donuts only come around once every few years. I'll have mine finished for D*con.

It's looking pretty darn good so far! I've posted that I'd like in on the Endor Blaster run, there appears to be a few spots left. One of the guys, Lloyd got another gal to join, who has some of the ribbing material for the helmet! I've posted and emailed her that I want to buy some.

Hopefully soon, the fellow making the donut and earcaps will be touch and I can get those done!

If they only come around every few years, I just may get a 2nd set, in case my son wants to do one too.

I'm bidding on ammo pouches, backpack (won't be the two box type, the other kind shown) and a couple other pieces.

Just need to find the patches...

Thanks again John! Hope to have mine for DCon too!

Use the tutorial at that Yahoo group. I couldn't find the paint they suggested and used something crappy. Sucked. Cost too much.

Then found the paint they suggested. 4 cans, still have 2 1/2 cans left of the colors.

Beware. Do not expect to have the donuts by DC though. I was on the very first day ordering opened. Certainly was one of the first 25 people to place an order. Took 3 weeks to get.

Not that I'm knocking him, great work, worth the wait. Just beware that it might take time to get there.

I also wound up tearing apart my real an-h-15 cloth helmet because I never found the right fabric color match for the ribbed part. So I sewed by hand and machine a new one and took the leather straps from the real one.

Thanks for the tips!! That'll help!

Boy, that is a bumper that they probably won't be ready for DCon. Dangit!

Aw well, I suppose it is better to have and wear one day, than to not have at all. 8)

Nope, wasn't Matt, no worries.

Got almost everything lined up. Just waiting to see if the maker of the donut and earcaps will contact me on the forum...

That's all I need to put the outfit together...once it all makes it here of course! 8)

You know that it's canon to use a Stormtrooper rifle too right? In case you don't get the other one in time too.
