The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

And I never got around to buying my entrance ticket. I am beyond gutted. What are my chances of getting in and meeting him if I queue to buy on the door? Or, and I'll happily move this request to the PX if need be, is anyone interested in parting with a ticket?

Last Showmaster statement was that there should be still daily tickets at the door.

Updated plan is that I'll wait at the door for my ticket while a couple of buddies who had the good sense to pre-book collect my virtual queuing and photo ticket. Crisis (hopefully) averted.

It was great to meet few of you guys at the UKCM table. LFCC was extremely hot and overcrowded so we only stayed a little bit with my son and wife.

Great day with friends. Very hot and sweat but worth armouring up to get in on the photo shoots with our friendly xeno Abe T Alien. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon and hoping Sgt Bradley feels better soon.

I'm back home with Abe and we've both had baths.

Thank you all! For a fun, surreal and wonderful weekend, and also for putting on a great table display.

I will wait for the organisers to feel less harassed and then I will email to try to confirm a table for LFCC on 18th October.

And another one makes it home.

Great job to all those that managed to tough it out in uniform, you had some hard days!

I'm really glad I took Gareth's advice and turned up for Sunday.
Not only did I get Hicks' autograph, I got to meet a few more of the Corps. Always a pleasure. :D

I'll post pic and vid tomorrow.

Matt & Kim down and clear.

Thanks to everyone who asked after me, Im okay. Just gotten off the emotional rollercoster!

Sunday more than made up for everything, had an absolute blast! Never seen it so busy on a Sunday - never even tailed off like it usually does there were still people getting tickets at 4-5pm.

I do love doing the 'Im with the band' walk into the venue! Never done the VQ thing before but as things went so smooth on Sunday we were in and done by 8.20, so walked round to get a lie of the land and they were giving out the VQ tickets at that point, so we grabbed some and got 8, 14, 16 etc, about 20 minutes after they opened the doors some were already well above 400, thats crazy.

Thanks so much everyone. I cant wait for Unity now.

God, yes!

The thought of queueing for 5 hours or more to get in (or be turned away) like many punters did on Saturday fills me with dread. We've definitely got it down.

Arrgh! Sorry I missed you guys. Went Sat - sooo hot and sooo many ppl. Once in, I found that they were serving beer. Genius! Made a bee-line for the bar and then nursed 2 pints looking for the UKCM stand.
Wasn't expecting so many retailers, but I guess that's all part of it. 3 pints and an 'interesting' burger later, I had to bail. I did see Daniel Kash though, and that was cool.
Ah well, next year I'll hopefully be back and have more time here.
Hope everyone had fun (and avoided heat-stroke :) ).

I'm not able to embed this but here's a little footage of Abe in action.

(The girl on Abe's right was attending her first Comic-Con and this was within her first 5 minutes  )

Had a great time this year and can gladly say I had a great meet with Michael Biehn. Stood talking to the Corporal for a good 10 minutes or so about The Victim and the challenges it posed compared to movies like Aliens or Terminator. Signed my APC print with "To Craig, Stay Frosty. Michael Biehn" too, so pretty pleased overall. Disappointed I didn't get much chance to talk to you guys but it was such a manic day Saturday, as the couple of you I did see at the table can attest too. Next time I intend to be suited up anyway :D

great weekend, great to see new faces too, just a shame I had to work so much over the weekend. It was nice to see you Voltane, otherwise would have mised you. Got the bust signed by all 3 guests and it looks like it went down nicely on the table so i will always make sure it is with me even if I'm not doing a drop if I'm at an event.

Also going to make sure I bring a case of water for the table next time!
