I think that's a Photoshop effect, I've seen it done on many a film poster too. Not sure how it's done though. Anyone know?

Holy smokes! I'd noticed The_Fireball's new avatar pic, so I went digging to see where it came from and found this thread. You guys look fantastic in this. I'm going to have to find a copy of the magazine as it it honestly one of the best representations of Alien fandom I've ever seen. Great job!
