The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Congrats Corporal!

remember the creed:

"This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me..."

So its not working. it might be the battery. The charger works. the battery gets kinda warm. but it doesnt fire. maybe you guys can give me some pointers. charged up, plugged in, mag is full, inserted. saftey off. nothing, not even a sound.

Have you wound the wheel at the bottom of the mag? How long did you charge the battery for?

Also, it sounds obvious but have you connected the battery properly inside the gun?

When I got my airsoft pulse rifle from Evike.com a few months back, the stick battery was totally dead and wouldn't hold a charge, on either charger I tried. The only way I knew for sure it was the battery is that I used another battery, non-stick type, and held onto that while shooting the gun, which worked flawless otherwise. I know Evike.com is good for returns and such, but in the end, I just ordered a new stick battery, I didn't raise a fuss with them about it since I thought it was a one off problem.

Amen to that! The Snow Wolf model was announced not long after I finished my G&P/King Arms build, which cost loads more to do! ...But hey, it was great to see an airsoft PR suddenly made available to the masses! :D

I just won a static replica M41A on ebay for a $109.00, including shipping. I thought about an air soft one, but decided against it. Just waiting for it to ship. Can not wait to start this build.

I think the Evike kit is very similar to the old G&P kit, so you could have had a read of my guide. :)

Yeah, I found your guide well before I bought my Thompson & PR kit. It made the build a real pleasure ... Rather than the huge pain in the ass it would've been following the G&P instructions on the included CD! Many thanks! :D

The guide is also a great resource for those needing to strip the Snow Wolf/Matrix model as you say. As far as I can tell the PR parts are a near identical clone of the G&P kit.

Cheers.

John. :)

I purchased the evike kit and had no instructions either, not even a cd but oddly when I purchased a ready assembled Snow Wolf it came with the kit build instruction manual
