The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Out of interest, has anyone bought one from a UK retailer without having to provide evidence of a defence? Don't worry; you won't be incriminating yourself - it's not an offence to buy or attempt to buy without a defence.

I appreciate you posting that.

Whats the weight like? Also, does it have proper sling mounts? I was going to go the prop route and build my own PR around a Marui Thompson I've got but this might be a little more plausible since it looks pretty good.

The weight is lame... It's the lightest of all three, because it's mostly plastic. It does not have any sling mounts, but I just checked, and you can connect a G.P. Strap through the barrel vent and the rear stock.

No worries Aaron. I guess you were maybe a bit burned out following a tough bug hunt or something. :D

On a seperate note the Snow Wolf version is now available to over 18's in the UK without UKARA player registration... If blue is your colour that is!

Cheers.

OMG. That color of bright blue usually signifies a training weapon. Dummy Frags, 40mm orange "cheesey-poof" training rounds, dummy artillery rounds, etc...

I see that blue Pulse Rifle, and all I can think is trying to complete swim qual with that thing.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean Aaron. It reminds me of the training models manufactured by Blueguns.

This is a stipulation in UK law for the purchase of an imitation firearm if you're not a UKARA registered player & are over 18 years of age. If I recall correctly at least 50% of the model must be painted a bright, unrealistic colour... It could be worse. Alternate colours are bright 'day glow' orange or green!

On a more positive note I see that the magazine baseplate is now available as a separate item. All ready for the fitting of Noble's excellent insert kits. I dare say US based retailers will be selling these too.

Cheers.

Evike.com has an 18% off coupon code "airsoftusa" (for a limited time only!) plus the pulse rifle has been reduced to only $330. 18% off of that is only $270.60! Depending on where you live, you can probably get this for under $300 incl shipping!

Jeff

Edit note: I just noticed on the Evike.com web site that they're moving their store and the coupon code may only be good through the 21st, so it might be too late. But it can't hurt to try that code, maybe it might stay active during their move?

Well they had it labeled on the site as arriving 6/2012. But anyway, they are cool just wish they had a working airsoft shotgun on the bottom or at least a dummy trigger.

Just heard a friend of mine ordered one from Evike and he recieved it today without having to prove any kind of VCRA exemption. Just came with the standard orange tips.
