The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I just got myself in for the event. I'm gonna consider this as my first deployment as a Colonial Marine. I only paid 30 bucks for the pass and I printed that baby out, but I have it kept away somewhere so that the pass won't get damaged while I wait for the event to come around. They only got this up till midnight here and the prices will raise up. So far, I just have dyed down my urban camo uniform to a brown color, and I am definitely am gonna keep it that way so that it may mesh well with the armor I'm soon gonna get. I had even dyed the tactical chin strap for the helmet I will later purchase and the sling for the motion track I'm gonna get from the mail very soon by next week or the week after. Here's a link for it:

I'll keep updates on my PR assembly as often as I can to show the progress.

I'll be there myself. I still need to finish the last touches of my suit and the assembly of the PR. I hope the rest of my stuff comes in soon like the PDT watch, the locator, and the motion tracker.

With the con just a couple weeks away, I was wondering how your armor was coming along?

I decided to go with a flak jacket, which seemed very easy to handle. Plus I have a heavy assortment of equipment that will be carried, so I guess the Marine Commando will be fit for any occasion. I still may need help on building the PR since I am hollowing out the shrouds, but the rotary tool I used died on me. Any suggestions?

Wendee Lee. She's a voiceover actress that's been known for roles for many Japanese anime like Cowboy Bebop, by which her character is Faye Valentine in the anime. As shown, she was at the con for signings and photo ops and she ended up granting me a free photo op with this rare Faye Valentine doll from '99. Other guests included George Takei and Leonard Nimoy, Bruce Boxleitner, Stan Lee, Todd McFarlane, Ernie Hudson, and Billy Dee Williams.

I'm thinking of going the next one coming up, but of course I still need to pay for the pass. I'm saving up till I get the tax refund. I'm considering this as a graduation gift to myself after getting out of Mesa CC.
