The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi All,

I've updated the main thread with regards to the replica prop/costume display at the NSC but this is pretty important and might get lost in that thread.

Does anyone have a Pulse Rifle that can be displayed on the UKCM/Legacy table?

Mine will be on the Marine mannequin tableaux, and it isn't a good enough example to be show cased on the table anyway.

If anyone has a spare they can display on the tables for both Saturday and Sunday please let me know.

Cheers,

Andy

I have "WET WORK" that can go on either the RPB or UKCM/AL tables. I know it`s not one of the high end pieces but it`s been a TLC job bringing it up to some semblance of a Pulse Rifle. I will be wielding Mjolnir (M41-E1 SAW) for most of the weekend or putting it on either table.

I think peeps want theirs to costume, do the AE, etc.

I'm not really costuming so I can donate all my gear into the displays, might not have been so easy if I was actively costuming!

We have GOT to have a Pulse Rifle on the table though!

Andy :D

Sidewinder will be bringing mine along - You can use that, mate!

10-hole Hero with realistic 'working' bolt, light-up counter, removable magazine, moving trigger and controls, adjusting stock and fully cycling (Maruzen) grenade launcher.

Hi Woody that's very kind of you too, sounds an awesome beast. :D

The more the merrier on the day, it'll be useful to see which one fits (both size and weight) the stand I've made the best.

The stand is to keep them upright, takes less room and shows the prop off in a better way.

Image

I'm planning to have the display quite formal, just one example of each major prop, costume or creature.

Hoping to have one PR slung on the mannequin and one on the table.

Thanks again guys, if you could bring them both and we'll figure it out on the day.

Cheers,

Andy

Andy with me now getting there and back via the trains, just done a dummy pack and I cannot put the Pulse Rifle anywhere safe mate to carry down (without grabbing Public attention no doubt).
I`m already carrying on the trains:- My soft GUN Bag (has the M41-E1 in it), my Big Black hold all has my Marine gear and a 2nd case/bag with clothing, Toiletries etc. Return the above and a RIOT SHIELD (fastening to the Gun Bag for ease).

Sorry mate to let you down :( Just don`t think I can carry another large bag for the Pulse Rifle :( (not safely). If I CAN figure a way I`ll bring it But best to let you down now just in case :/

That's cool Jase, not letting me down at all, sounds like you have enough hassle on your plate getting to the event!

Thanks for giving me a heads up.

Hopefully we can still display Woody's PR, or maybe Martins as a back up if he sees this in time.

See you soon.

Andy :D

Cheer`s mate and had to adapt but still on :D Was going to bring a dio display and ALL my Movie 4" custom Action figures of the Marines but binned that idea.
Anyway as said IF I can figure a safe method I`ll bring it with me, just this dummy run doesn`t look promising. Hell I am tempted to leave my Spat Armour (I`m NOT it`s coming :D so I can be Screen Inaccurate :p ) and just use the flak vest, due to the bulk. I`ll just have to put on my Anti Social Scary face to keep people away from my table and Bags :p lol

As I said I won't need the marines gear I shall be mostly wearing this
