Hard Rock - Vegetarian friendly.
Hooters - Vegetarian unfriendly and a totally ridiculous waste of time
Steak place acroos from Hooters - Don't count on me being there.

So what happened at Hooters?

Going to Hooters has been a tradition for 4 years now. In the past the service was ok to so-so. Last year was a nightmare; the service was beyond terrible.

Took 20 minutes to get seated- then another 20 just to take our order!

An hour goes by- some of us got food, some did not. Most of us had finished eating while a couple of people had still not received their food! We complained to the manager- he said he would bring us free food. We didn't want more food, we wanted to pay and get the hell out! So he said he would give us 25% off the bill.

First bill arrives- no 25% off.

Second bill arrives- 25% off... but they charged us gratuity!!

So again we send that bill back to wait for a third bill with the 25% discount- and exact charge for each meal.

Total of 2 hours wasted. After that fiasco- never again we said.

On the other hand- we also have gone to the Hard Rock each year- no problems there!

Seriously- if you guys are going to Hooters this year, I'll be in the Hyatt waiting for you to get back. No offense.

Wow, what a hell experience!

IMO, sounds like the delays were not your server's fault so tipping should still have taken place.

(Sorry, I used to deliver pizza so tipping is a touchy subject. )

To be brutally honest with Hooters it just appeared like there were more important people sat at EVERY other table but ours.
This included the servers and management.

They knew they could fill the tables regardless so happy customers are not their priority. I really hate it when that happens.

I enjoyed Hard Rock... as expensive as it was. But, yeah.... what about the pizza option?
