The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

OK this is a little more serious than the "Sarge Needs Your Help" thread (but just by a little ;) ).

Many moons ago (perhaps years) Joe asked the membership if anyone knew the answer to a puzzle...

Apparently a local radio station had a cool line that they would play during the commercial break- he remembered it going something like:

"Now push the button and send me back in time my friend."

This was a sample from a movie- however what particular movie was a mystery.

Much Google searching was done to no avail. Eventually everyone lost interest.

Except me. ;) :)

Once in a while I try my hand at looking. Last night I had a breakthrough!

I began fooling around with the words first- I replaced "push" with "press". This opened up a plethora of hits. Eventually it led to a rearranging of the sentence into this:

"Press the button my friend, send me back into time."

This got me one exact hit adding tiny piece of the puzzle---

PBS: NOVA "Time Travel"

If you scroll nearly halfway down- you will come across this line: (here is a screenshot):

This is a transcript of the PBS show NOVA. The episode is called "Time Travel" (airing originally in 1999). Between interviews with scientists such as Carl sagan and Stephen Hawking, there are movie clips from time travel movies (such as BTTF).

If you scroll nearly halfway down, you will come across the elusive sentence. There is more to it-

"We're in focus Paul."

"Press the button Harvey. Press the button my friend, send me back into time."

The problem is the movie is still unkown. The only clues are there are two possibly main charaters named Harvey and Paul, and the movie is about time travel.

I've tried every possible search, but have come up with nothing (other than the PBS link).

The PBS episode would most likely have the names of the movies sampled in the end credits (such as "clips from BTTF copyright Universal Studios" etc).

But I've come up against a wall here. Can anyone else help?

(This has become more of an obsession for myself than Joe most likely) ;) :D

"I know I'm human. And if you were all these things, then you'd just attack me right now, so some of you are still human. This thing doesn't want to show itself, it wants to hide inside an imitation. If it takes us over, then it has no more enemies, nobody left to kill it. And then it's won."
