The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi all

As mentioned in the other thread about the NSC event we have invited Trevor along again ( how could we not ) but this time it's up to us to sponsor his appearance. This means covering the cost of his attendance. We've estimated the cost to be approx £400. We need everyone that can, to give what they can to get to this figure please. Once we reach the amount I'll let people know.
I would like to collect this money sooner rather than later as nearer the time people might find it harder to be able to contribute. If you could paypal what you can afford to me at

friendlyskies@ntlworld.com

I will hold the money until the event and make sure all costs get covered.

Appreciate your help and generosity on this guys. Let's make sure Weirzbowski doesn't get left behind this time ;)

Cheers

Darren

Hey Darren, I'll be able to help out next month. Spent.

But, why are dealing with his expense? This is not a cheap/gut shot at anyone. Just curious? So no one take offense.

On the other hand. It's important that we get as many as poss. And missing Trevor out is a big shame. Uncle Trev is such a ace fella!

Count me in.

There is a very limited budget for the event. To get all the new guests in from the U.S. and other guests that haven't attended before doesn't leave anything to cover Trevor. I agree with this, in that the money should be spent getting new guests but I would not want that to exclude Trevor from attending. It is the 25th Anniversary and how could we not want Trevor to be there. Rather than not see him there I said we would sponsor him this year. People do not HAVE to contribute if they can't afford it and should not feel obligated to do so but if you want to see Trevor there then please give what you can. We are almost half way to the total already by the way.

To re-iterate what I said in the other thread. We do not need to tell Trevor that we are paying for him this year though as I wouldn't want him to feel any different from any of the other guests.

Cheers

Darren

Don't worry about it Jake. As I said no one should feel obligated if they can't do it. That's why I took this approach to start with.

Hi Vicky

Yes I'm still going but to be perfectly honest I would prefer to have all the money in one place and not deal with people's cash. If it's ok with you please paypal it instead. There shouldn't be any fees. Sorry to be a pain mate.

Thanks bud

Can't use PayPal at the moment as it's attached to my credit card and I'm trying to clear all my debts.

My PayPal account has two payment options (set by me); pay direct from bank account or from credit card. I set bank account as the default, with the credit card set to be selected if there's not enough in my account or I can choose it directly when I go to pay for something. :)

Can't remember when or how I set all that up as it was a long time ago. :?
