The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Workouts have been tough for me lately. Ever since I had pnuemonia in February it has taken me forever to recover. I experience shortness of breath a lot faster than I should. My strength has been slowly creeping back up though.

However I am glad the hot weather is here!

There is something about consistant warm weather that improves my workouts. I feel pumped all the time (perhaps because my blood flow is less restricted with the warm temperature). I'm able to wear a tank top everywhere. It's a terrific motivator! And as a domino effect the more motivated I am the better my workouts are!

I put on a few pounds due to being lackadaisical about my diet; I went up to 157. I'm back down to 154 this morning but could stand to lose another 4 pounds. I know this sounds like a ridiculously small amount of weight, but for me it is those "last few pounds" that are the most difficult to lose requiring a great deal of self discipline, and on my small frame a few pounds looks like 10 or 15 pounds on someone else.

I've consistantly been getting to the gym 3 times a week. But man! Seems like these weights get heavier every year since I hit 40.

Congratulations on the weight loss Dom! I've never seen you thinner!

PS... If you're going to take a pic of yourself wearing spandex, you need to be wearing a mask and cape.

My big problem with AB ripper is the first three exercises hurt my lower back. And fifers scissors SUCK....on a side note plyo kicked my ass today. But that could be just because I am pushing it more. . my wife jealously commented this morning that my love handles are gone. I still see some ,but I am making steady progress.

Here's my first competitive run... ever.

When I first signed up for the 6K Trail in January, this seemed like a very daunting challenge. Now, I'll do it with my eyes closed... BACKWARDS!

Nevertheless, I plan to bring glory back to Sparta.

That's the spirit. You're kicking a$$ and takin' names Sarge. Next you'll be doing a 10k with a ruck at a 8:00/klick pace.

Recovery week almost done. Didn't like much about this week. Core sinergetics just seems like they threw a bunch of stuff together. Going for a run tommorrow and then Monday back to phase two. 180.8 this morning gonna break 180 by next week I can feel it.

It's just genetics Bro. Your "dominant" arm does more work so it gets bigger yada yada yada.

My left arm is actually a half inch bigger than my right arm (which is weird because I'm right handed).

You would have to do extra sets for your left arm to get it to "catch up". But unless you plan on competing in a body-building contest (where they would be looking to see if both your arms are perfectly the same size) I wouldn't worry about it. Just flex your bigger arm when some says to "make a muscle".

And that's some great progress there Bro! :delta:

Kevin, my left arm is the stronger also, even though I'm also right handed. I think it's because I use my left for brute force and my right for detail.

Well this is going to sound even weirder...

My left arm is weaker than my right, yet it is bigger. When I'm doing bicep curls, my left arm gives out faster than my right.

For me my left bicep has a slightly higher peak and is a little more baseball shaped than my right bicep (which looks longer and flatter).
