The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Now you are quite scared, Andy? Where are you getting the mindbleach from, as I'm sure over the years the acts of Munkey would have burnt part of your synapses away by now?

Mindbleach in all things Munkey stopped working ages ago, and as you say there is a huge gaping hole in my brain that used to be occupied by my decency filter!

It's just that things are being taken to new levels with all of his new apprentices!

What a great weekend , did not see most of the usual craziness that went on after hours  I spent most of the weekend manning the display table , and sitting talking to Trevor Steedman as his signing table was next to the UKCM display , 8)
This was the first drop that i had brought my Baby son too and everyone including Trevor made a fuss over him.. :D
All in all i had a good time , even when i ended up manning the Firing range on my own for about 20 mins..

Bring on the next one !!

Aye, pretty much.

As I kinda mentioned earlier, I've really been looking forward to this one for a long time - I've had a really nasty year, especially the last week or so, and when I was most looking forward to the event cheering me up a couple of things happened that I thought might ruin the entire thing for me.

Happily, all obstacles were removed, and I can safely say that it was the best NSC weekend EVER.

Hell, even though I spent Sunday morning AWOL acting as medtech ( Apologies and thanks to those who stepped in to cover my morning shifts in the AE. I hope I made up for it in the afternoon! :) ), and y'would have thought that that would drop points from the gig, it STILL outshines all that have come before.

Thanks to Malika for letting us play in her sandbox, and to Gareth and Darren for their usual dedication and hard work at the sharp end of the divisional wedge ;)
And obviously to everyone else, be they UKCM, UKG, RPB or []OTHER.

Loved how the AE evolved again over the course of the weekend - I definitely think it works best when we ad-lib over a core script/plot, as some of the best moments were the ones that came out of people reacting to a surprise situation.

Technical hitches and resultant DJ rage aside, it looked to me like the party was a big success - I hope y'all enjoyed it as much as you looked like you did, and cannae feckin' wait to do it again!

As usual, I'll remember moments that need mentioning in here over the next few days and post when that happens ;)

For now...

"Belly Sambucca."
"Don't Stop Believin'".

I did almost kill the dude that hid from Cape Man, resulting in Cape Man attacking Rex, Jake and me.

I let him taste the hot sauce.

I'm Suave, but I have funny eyes. He also thought me and Rex were together, which was a giggle.

[Did I mention Scape was an elvis wannabe?]

Rogue Down and Clear (at last!)

What can I say!?! That was epic! I met some of the most amazing people in the world and I can't wait to see you all again. It was great getting to spend so much time with my man as well :D In the AE I got to get nommed by an Alien which is something I've wanted to do for years! Also got to scream like a maniac all weekend which was great (if a little painful at times!)

Thank you so much to all involved and thank you for inviting me Scapey. Best. Weekend. Ever!!!! :D
