The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

DAMMITT, DAMMITT, DAMMITT.....

Been rearranging the flat to accomodate the addition of new appliances.
In the process of shifting lots of stuff around our tiny studio flat, there was a slight mishap with one of the boxes and my poor VP70 was snapped clean in half!! :(

CRAP!!

Nope. It's more shattered in half.
The barrel was a clean break, but the sidewall of the slide, half the rail and several faces on the frame were bent, along with fragments actually breaking off.

WTB: VP70!!

Wow, what kind of VP70 did you have that you were able to break it in half?

It was one of the cap versions that Dom supplied.
Storage box collapsed into the one beneath it, smashing the VP70 like fingers in a car door.

I'll get a replacement of some kind once I have some cash to spare.
Can't be going in to a hostile Con with just my swingin' cod for protection, can I? :D

YOU CAN'T HELP THEM...... You can't...... Right now, they're being cocooned just like the others.

Nah, it was totally written off - I briefly considered flooding the inside with resin or something, but there were too many tiny fragments. It really did shatter!!

Somewhere on the way to a landfill, now.
