Got started on the Flamethrower which I've been putting off for some years now but here is what it looks like at the moment. It's a wooden body which will be covered in metal parts so it won't be seen on the finished Product.

This is what it's looking like at the Moment, it's just a test fitting all the main parts at the Moment. I will be getting more detailed Photos up, with a better explanation of everything. The grip is made of aluminium with a spring-loaded trigger, which I forgot to take photos of before I put it together. Sorry guys, I'm sometimes just to impulsive and forget to get photos. I will obviosly be covering all the screws on the grip with car body filler.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words. I really am doing my best at this because it's the last item that is missing from my collection. I've always wanted one but I was never willing to pay $800 for a big piece of resin, although they are pretty damn good. After this though I will be giving everything a break until I get my shop up and running. |

A little more work done over the Weekend on the Flamethrower. The barrel and hand guard is fixed in to place and the side plates are on,just waiting for the socket for the back to arrive from the USA and then I'll be getting the pistol grip section fixed in. All the other parts like from the M4/M16 are all finished,but I'll be getting them fixed in to place when all the filling is done.

Got a little more done over the weekend, but still a long way to go including filling; that's going to be fun. I'm leaving the tank till last. Still waiting for parts to arrive.

Thanks for the kind words. Well to be honest I never liked it either but it's the only thing missing from my collection. I was just running out of ideas on what to do next but I must say this really is a hard and strange thing to build.

The filling is all done and the first Coat of spray filler is on. Now I can see where I have to fill. The next step is a second coat of spray filler, which should cover all the tiny scratches but some will probably still be seen, which is OK for me because after all it's a weapon and weapons do get abused.
