Firstly, congrats to Cpl. Smith for a long overdue promotion!

This brings me to another Marine who, IMHO, though an outstanding Corporal, really should be... by this point... sitting proudly with the rank of Sergeant around here.

Of course, I refer to Cpl. D. Beaudoin.

Dom goes above and beyond the call to provide for everyone and organize some incredible things. Another stripe should come his way.

Now, of course we're all unofficial around here and someone could parade around as a 4-star General if they so chose... and I'm sure Dom's far too modest to promote himself, so with that in mind... I say we all sign a freaking petition here (of sorts) to get him to add a FREAKING STRIPE to that uniform.

We need a Sgt around here. We have a Staff-Sgt, and a bunch of Cpls and below...

So if you, as a Marine, agree with this assessment, chime in on this thread and maybe... just maybe... he'll get the hint.

I therefore officially submit a recommendation for promotion for Cpl. D. Beaudoin to assume the rank of Sgt, pending his acceptance. He deserves it.
