Maybe use a heat gun to reshape the front plate of a Spat piece?

Hmmm... interesting.

A suggestion would be get a shot put and weld that to a pole and a base. Then heat up the material and lightly press around the put until it matches her cup size.

This is going to sound odd, but find a couple rubber balloons of 'about the right size' and fill with plaster of paris.

'Mount' it to a board at an angle so it has the 'right' shape. Then mount a board or thin piece of metal across the to to give a uniform flatness.

You'll end up with an upswept 'bosem' with the hard USCM style breastplate features after you use the heatgun to shape it.

Of course these suggestions are discounting the fact that the women in the film wore the same style armor a the men.

Wow! Not wanting to sound rude but your GF must have quite a rack. I'm a 36G and I don't have problems fitting in armour. Having said that I don't wear a bra that pushes my breasts up under my chin either.

Sounds like an interesting idea though and I'm curious to see the finished results.

Seriously though, what I meant to say was that unless she looks like the femtrooper girls (and then I second the call for pictures) I don't think the armour mod is really needed. As Russ said, the women in the movie fitted their armour just fine.

On the other hand if you are going to mod the armour then go the whole hog and modify it all - ab pad, leg armour, everything - to give it more feminine lines.

Well, plastic that has already been vacced can only stretch so far before cracking.

I could add something on top of the master before vaccing it to make it larger, or even lift the master to a different height and then the chest could be bigger. But I would need to know how big.

And before people get crazy, this would not be a regular thing, just a one shot for him for fun.

And Mole, 36G? Really? Damn.

I'm gonna have to admit that I'm not too nuts about the idea of "boobing" out a set of armour. If a lady's bust is so damn big that it won't fit in armour, I'd suggest longer straps. Adding "cups" to an armour is f*cking ridiculous. IMHO, a woman wearing this would have to be classified as a pin-up and not a Marine. Even Ash's costume made more sense that this idea.

Well, my plan wasn't to add "boobs" to the armor, but instead to make the chest armor roomier for ladies who are more top heavy. As much as I like being the "crazy costume guy", I would never do something like that to Marine Armor. Well... unless the price was right.

Listen I know we're not the 501st. And I know we're a pretty loose group when it comes to trooping. I certainly do not have a problem with any girl who needs custom armour because she is very well endowed trooping with us.

I just don't care to see armour with tits on it. I wouldn't want to see armour that's made out of fur- "Furry Marine" or a "Jack Sparrow Marine" either.

But like I said- it's just my opinion. I'm not going to say it can't be done.

Its turning into an opinion thread, not at all what the original poster was looking for.
I think opinions are great, but if you don't have something nice to say, maybe think twice before posting.
Pm me or start a new thread, and we can all discuss fem troopers and boobs there instead.

Oooookay- it's not that Shari is sooooo well endowed that she physically won't "fit" into the armor, she's 36FG or something like that. She just doesn't want to be "squished" into the armor.

As for Fem trooper armor, whether it's a Stormtrooper or a Mandalorian, I think it looks pretty cool, it identifies a female. Is some of it a little too much pin up w/ the mid driff showing? Yes.

I just like the looks of it. Dom, Kev, we'll have to agree to disagree.



Will Shari's Marine armor be "feminized?" As long as she doesn't feel squished, I don't think that would be neccessary.

Does she come from a Ren Faire background where boobs are more..."glamourized" than most Sci-Fi costuming?

Yes.

Do I want to make sure she's happy as a USCM?

Yes.

Is she looking really forward to meeting my brothers?

Yes.

She's seen the video, and the YouTube ones as well.

She thinks that we have incredible friendship and camaradarie. And she wants to experience it.

She's really excited to join the USCM, as well as the 501st (Imperial Officer) then a Fem Mandalorian, so she can troop with us. She went to a Halloween event with us at a school and was blown away by the kids reaction to us. (Clonetrooper, Sandtrooper, Stormtrooper and Boba Fett) and is looking really forward to being a part of it.

Having someone who enjoys costuming as much as I do is something I never thought to experience. Soooo, however she wants to enjoy Sci-Fi costuming is fine w/ me.

She's a really good sport about it all, and damn fun to share costuming ideas with!
