While we're not leaving until early Wednesday, I'm at work all day tomorrow and then off until late at night fixing someone's computer setup (last minute reschedule)

So for the fear of not being able to post this before the majority of you leave......have a safe trip, god speed and take it easy.
It's better to be late than not at all, especially with the construction of the roads into Atlanta.

Every single year (while on the road) I curse myself as to how long a drive it is.

Every single year I promise myself I am going to fly down next time.


And every single year I end up driving.

Mostly because of the cost of a flight on top of everything else (a plane ticket would cost more than 3 times the cost of gas for me)- and I would die if any of my costumes were damaged or lost.

Not to mention the hassle I'd probably get from security/customs for my extremely military looking costumes and bazooka.

I really have to plan this much further in advance. But the procrastinator in me always wins.

With the exception of last year, I too have always done the solo mission to delta charlie. It's not nearly so bad because the excitement and adrenaline keeps pumping faster every mile closer you get to your destination! Oh yeah, and the thoughts of naughty girl scouts in their uniforms.

I'm totally stoked to see all of you again this year -- and some of you for the very first time. We are gonna rock delta charlie off the freakin' hook!
